So I was just casually browsing DA for potatoes (normal Saturday morning activity) and wondered to myself - WHY IS MY SEARCH FILLED WITH NAKED GIRLS? I have no problem with nudity in art - hey, as an art student I have been drawing naked bodies for 4 years now and am still amazed at the artistic expression of a human body, but these here are just plain home photos with no value apart from feeding the owners ego apparently. Sometimes huge photoshoped curves are added. I don't know how I always get entangled in the fashion field. Some years ago I worked as a fashion tour guide.. well, I didn't quite get to the working part since after finishing a 6 week training the whole project suddenly failed. But then I learned quite a lot about Latvian fashion designers and I found out that I truly enjoy their work. Latvian design can be so pure and and simple, yet displaying perfect harmony. As somebody who can't help herself to put endless details in a work, I really estimate aesthetic simplicity.
